Health & Safety:

Personal, protective equipment.

At Discover Tree Climbing, safety is paramount. Each climber will be fitted with a harness and helmet. Climbers will be given full instructions and talked through the process.

All of our equipment is inspected  regularly by our team before every use and also by a qualified LOLER inspector every six months.We source all of our equipment from local suppliers wherever possible, using trusted manufacturers in the outdoor industry. Clothing

We advise all climbers to wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear.

Insurance

Discover Tree Climbing has public Liability insurance to £10 million.

Qualifications

All instructors are trained and experienced, have First Aid training and specific tree rescue training

The working procedures document is produced and verified in conjunction with top arborist industry professionals

DBS:

All of our team are DBS checked, ensuring a safe environment at all times.

Who can climb?

Anyone of 6 years old and over can climb with us. However, you cannot climb if you are pregnant, are currently undergoing treatment for back, neck, heart or blood pressure problems, suffer from epilepsy or have had an operation within the last 12 months for an injury/condition which could be aggravated by any part of the activity. Any other relevant condition must be declared to our instructors before climbing. Contact us for clarification.
